The First Nest in the Heart of Nature (1995-2015)
The story of Burhan Hotel began in 1995, inspired by the deep love and vision of our founder, Burhan Kalın, for the unique and untouched nature of Karpaz.
What started as the realization of a dream, began with the establishment of “Burhan’s Golden Beach,” a simple and intimate resort made up of wooden bungalows, nestled on the region’s golden sandy beaches and perfectly blended with nature.
From the very first day, our hotel adopted a philosophy that respects the delicate balance of nature and the region’s rich biodiversity.
Our guests not only enjoyed the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean and peaceful beaches, but they also witnessed the miraculous journey of the Caretta Caretta turtles, which our hotel has carefully protected, as they lay their eggs and embark on their incredible journey to the sea.
Burhan’s Golden Beach became more than just a vacation spot for our guests from around the world – it turned into a home where they connected with nature, nurtured friendships, and created unforgettable memories.

Struggle – (2015 - 2017).
A Challenging Turning Point and the Spirit of Solidarity (2015 - 2017)
This peaceful journey that lasted for 20 years was shaken in 2015 by a court ruling.
Due to legal reasons, the decision to demolish our facility was met with great sadness and reaction from both the local community and our guests who had a deep connection with us.
During this process, our hotel was not alone; messages of support, campaigns, and objections from our guests kept our hopes alive.
However, despite all efforts, the demolition began abruptly at 06:00 on the morning of July 29, 2017.
In just a few hours, 22 years of hard work, a business built with love, and hundreds of unforgettable memories disappeared before our eyes.
This was more than the demolition of a building; it seemed like the painful end of a story symbolizing a love for nature and hard work.
Rebirth (2017 - 2018)
Despite the deep sorrow that followed the demolition, we embarked on a new journey with Burhan Kalın’s determination and the immeasurable support of our loyal guests.
Without losing hope after the demolition, we made the decision to build a new facility with the same spirit and passion.
Starting in late 2017, with tireless work, we put all our efforts into building a structure that would carry the soul of our former home but be more modern and comfortable.
This process was not just about constructing a building; it symbolized unwavering determination in the face of challenges and the strong bond we had built with our guests.
